Hi one and all. My father was Alex Morton, a signaller with 24 sqn. He was injured in march 1957 at edingburgh field in
Australia. There has always been mystery about his accident as the RAF refused to reveal any details. As this
injury resulted in a medical discharge we are keen to find out the truth. So does anyone recollect him?

I am researching the military life of a Polish pilot named Zdzislaw Stefan Gustowski who completed 42 missions with 304 Squadron (Polish Air Force) on Coastal Command Wellingtons then retrained as a pilot. He qualified too late for the war but transferred into the Regular RAF and flew with Transport Command for a while. He flew Avro Yorks out of RAF Wunsdorf during the Berlin Airlift. I have a photograph of him with his Avro York but there are no visible markings Can anyone please tell me in which Squadron he served during the Berlin Airlift? Please respond to email@example.com Unfortunately his photo will not attach here.

Greetings to one and all. I was stationed at R.A.F Lyneham in 1949 and then ended up in R.A.F Khorkaksar in 1950. a six monthe stint at R.A.F Ryan and back to Khormaksar.Would be great if any of my friends of that time were still around/ Alex Thompson, Dougie Wood, just to name a couple.
I am 85,so my guess is that the chances of many remaining are few.

I am looking for a veteran stationed in Khormakser. His name is Jeff Stokes and his wife Thelma. They lived in Khormakser in front of our house. They were very kind to me. I would love to meet them.
